When the Salt Lake School District committee wants to have the meeting with parents from my community, they call me to help them communicate with parents. I have been doing this from August 2005 to present
  • Salt Lake Community College, President of SSA, 2004, 2005, I was the president for the Sudanese Student Association (SSA) at Salt Lake Community College from 2004 to 2005 school year. We as a club did three projects per semester. One of those projects was collecting used books and backpacks. We raised money to deliver those books to Africa where they are needed the most and we also collected clothes for the homeless once a year. This club helped in many ways: it involved us in college activities, and provided a tuition waiver for one member of the club every semester.
