Work closely with the courts and service providers in the community to identify and when appropriate divert youth with mental health needs, from greater involvement in the juvenile justice system. Provide direct therapeutic interventions, consultation, and referral to other providers if need.
Assist the nurse and primary counselor in the completion of patient assessments, including intake and intervention as needed. In the absence of a primary counselor, assist in the management of that primary counselor's caseload, along with the assigned coverage counselor.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment environment. This position consists of interacting directly with adolescents with defiant behavior and oppositional conduct disorder as well as inappropriate sexual behaviors. Also communicate with case worker, and families by providing them with updates.
Report to the Theatre Manager and is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the theatre including managing, training, customer service, depositing receipts, handling patrons and employees, complaints, and ordering supplies. Performs other duties directed by the Theatre Manager.
