I am a driven young professional with nearly 10 years of experience in communications/radio and about six years in management. I also have a communications degree from the University of North Dakota. I currently work as the Brand Manager of a local Top 40 radio station in Bismarck, North Dakota. I help manage Townsquare Media Bismarck's five radio station websites and social media accounts, as well as write daily content for our sites. I am also a national voice talent for Townsquare Media. I am always looking for opportunity to better my life, myself, and my career. I believe that Chip Theory Games is a huge step in the right direction because of my work background and my love of games.
I am the Brand Manager for Hot 97-5 and Assistant Digital Managing Editor for Townsquare Media in Bismarck. I work on-air, do promotions, articles, social media posts, and website editing.
I came back to iHeart part-time when I moved back to Grand Forks. I was on-air and did events.
I oversaw eight stylists and three receptionists. I also set schedules, interview potential employees, host store meetings, among other responsibilities.
I excelled as a stylist and salesperson, which helped me advance in the industry after only a short time in the field.
I was a receptionist at the West Fargo location during hair school, then became a stylist for this location after I graduated.
I worked for JCPenney when I lived in Grand Forks, and transferred to the Fargo location, where I went from retail associate to receptionist at the salon. I opened and closed, counted tills/ money handling, helped customers, did merchandising, organized, signed customers up for the store credit card, etc.
I was employed at iHeartMedia (Clear Channel at the time) for both the Minot and Grand Forks, North Dakota locations. For 2 years, I had my own shows, cut news stories, had live guests, introduced bands, attended events, did live remotes, ran boards, among other responsibilities.
I did background/behind-the-scenes work for the local news channel.
