Credit Liaison & Gift Card Analyst

Since joining Signet in February 2013, I have achieved 11 years of experience in Credit Customer Service. I am a Credit Liaison, and my responsibilities include maintaining the Customer Care Escalation inbox. As the primary point of contact, I will review, assist, and respond to any credit related concern pertaining to our Private Label Credit Cards received by the Field and Support Center. In this role, I often work with colleagues that range from Store Managers all the way up to Executives. My extensive background in Credit has been beneficial to this role, allowing me to comfortably share knowledge with these levels of team members along with executing potential training opportunities. I carefully review every inquiry to confirm resolution through Signet or determine if our Partners need to be involved for further assistance. I am responsible for ensuring Signet team members are following set policies and procedures to stay within compliance regulations. I maintain open communication with members of management within the Customer Connection Center and Credit Operations to stay informed on new or modified credit and payment processes. I monitor trends, whether it is a certain District that consistently sends non-related PLCC concerns, or where a system issue has occurred, and multiple stores/guests are negatively impacted. This information is then shared with the Credit Operations Team and/or our Partners to investigate.
My additional responsibilities include handling gift card data for the entire Customer Connection Center. In this role, I will receive, and review reports generated for gift card related activity created by C3 agents, such as activations and adjustments. I am accountable for reviewing the data to understand who is responsible for being charged or credited for the gift card. Once determined, each gift card is entered into Solar prior to the end of the fiscal month so it is captured for Treasury. I will assist internal departments as well as third party vendors with gift card orders by activating the desired quantity of cards for the requested amount. These cards are sent over by the end of the fiscal month to be re-classed by Treasury to the designated department or account. I am also responsible for multiple reports including different types of gift card activities to be generated and sent to leadership teams.
Additional skills and work experience with Signet include developing training materials for credit processes and gift card tasks and led training meetings, worked with IT/other departments to assist team members gain access to programs, managed Flexiti inquiries and disputes, accurately reviewing and answering Credit Bureau Disputes, responding to Credit related correspondence, answering customer and store phone and chat inquiries, and online order concerns with our E-commerce department.
