I started the Job during May of 2023 as a summer job before college. It is my fathers company so I had to do a bit of everything. I would get to a job site in Virginia by 6 a.m where I would set up cones, mount drill rigs and direct traffic. The other half of the job was me working with numbers to make sure our margins were correct and up to par and writing emails.

At Jersey Mike's, an employee's responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, which is a top priority. During an 8-hour shift, tasks involve preparing sandwiches, taking orders, and ensuring a friendly atmosphere for customers. Employees also engage in cleaning duties, maintaining a tidy workspace and dining area. Additionally, breaking down boxes and managing inventory is essential to keep the store organized and efficient. Overall, the focus is on delivering quality service while maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency.

At Caves Valley Golf Course, as an employee starting in June 2024, my primary responsibilities during 8-hour shifts revolve around delivering exceptional customer service. This includes engaging in various hands-on activities, ensuring that guests in the locker room are satisfied by providing clean towels, cleaning their shoes, and offering food and drinks. We also would show them around the courses campus if they had any further questions. Maintaining a welcoming and clean environment is essential, as customer satisfaction is our top priority. Overall, the role emphasizes active engagement with patrons to enhance their experience at the golf course.
