Provided nursing care alongside an RN in administering daily medication, starting IV’s, administering IV medication, inserting urinary catheters, obtaining urine and blood samples, and other nursing skills.
Worked and gained experience as a nurse clinical/registered nurse at UK Kentucky Children’s Hospital – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Provided intensive critical nursing care to pre- mature infants and neonates in a level 4 unit which included starting IV’s, collecting blood sample, administering critical medications, and working with patients on mechanical ventilators.
