• Representing the Company at the scheduled meetings with Port Authority and other local authorities
• Establish, organize, and maintain a high standard of working relationships with the terminal/port lines, owners, customers, port authority, customs and other concerned parties
• Plan, monitor and analyze relevant reports, propose areas of operational improvement, system automation and upgradation if and when necessary
• Maintain constant communication with the port and local authorities to ensure effective vessel operations, ensure effective interdepartmental communication
• Ensure effective coordination and communication within each section of Terminal/Port Operations
• Act as the key internal and external focal point for the company's operational activities
• Provide solutions to operational and customer interface problems, ensure client satisfaction with the service at all times.
• Ensuring excellent relationship with global agency partners.

• Verify and Approve vouchers pertaining to operations (Port and Vendor)
• Actively participate in budget preparation of the department with necessary performance forecast, revenue projections, action plans & manpower requirements of the company.
• Monitor Shipping Agencies Department budget, monitor its expenditures and provide necessary inputs.
• Assist to follow up with debtors for the outstanding payment.
