Summary

I am a very motivated and self disciplined educator who is enthusiastic about working with students, teachers, families and stake holders of all backgrounds and skill levels. I bring 18 years as an educator. Four of those years I proudly served as a middle school assistant principal, Intermediate building principal and the District's Safety Director for the Doniphan R-1 School District.

I am a true believer in servant leadership. I have a heart to serve others. Serving others takes patience, knowledge, understanding, dedication and empathy.

I offer outstanding skills in parent communication, conflict resolution, and staff management. As safety director, I exercised my communication skills with area agencies to develop and implement multi-hazard drills and inspections. I am always motivated to improve relationships among faculty, students and administrators. I am very personable and outgoing with skill in building rapport with diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

As an assistant principal there were many demanding and unique facets where I had to implement and discipline according to the policies/handbook that was set in place.

I am willing and determined to do anything that is asked of me and will always go far and beyond what is expected of me. Professionalism and respect go a long way. I hope to work alongside Poplar Bluff administrators and staff to cultivate an amazing educational experience for our students and their families. I will strive to be a positive liaison between all stakeholders.
