I am very passionate about my career as a Nursing Assistant. I went into it with curiosity and wanting to explore what job would be best for me, but quickly fell in love with this career and found out I eventually want to further my education in the health care field but would love to continue working as a Nursing Assistant while I am doing so. A big reason why I fell in love with this career so much, is my ability of being so compassionate. It came really natural to me and just felt right. I love meeting new patients and building bonds and learning the best way to meet their needs. Each patient is so different and honestly you never stop learning with this job no matter how long you've been in this field. Each patients differences bring a new learning experience and I find it very exciting. Most of my experience in this field is in end of life care and working with dementia/ Alzheimer's patients. It has honestly gave me a whole new perspective on life. I find it an honor to be able to be one of the last faces they see and be their comfort at such a confusing and difficult time. The bonds I have built in this career I will forever cherrish and I am beyond excited so create many more.
