• Skillfully care for post-operative VAD, open heart, lung and heart transplant, and neurosurgical patients.
• ECMO specialist caring for fragile critically ill and complex patients from initiation of ECMO through decannulation.
• Facilitate therapeutic communication to ensure that the needs of the patient come first.

• Well versed in the care and management of critically ill patients requiring mechanical ventilation, CRRT, balloon pump therapy, hypothermia treatment, DKA protocols and antivenom treatments.
• Work cohesively with physicians and other health team members in the stabilization of acutely ill patients utilizing my critical thinking skills.

• Effectively care for acutely and chronically ill patients after cardiac procedures, brain attacks and heart attacks, manage CHF, pneumonia and kidney failure.
• Identify EKG rhythms, initiate and maintain cardiac drips.
• Care for patients receiving anti-thrombin therapy and patients undergoing alcohol withdrawal.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and ensure safe and proper medication administration to post-operative and trauma patients.
• Practice proper hygiene, educate patients and family members regarding current plans of care, effectively communicate with physicians during acute changes in patient condition.
• Perform dressing changes, assess gunshot and stab wounds, burns, surgical sites, and other skin conditions, assess fall risk for all patients Service: Registered Nurse - Holy Family Surgery Center, Honduras, Central America.
