Work History

Volunteer

Alexander Graham Cell Hospital
San Francellsco , Calicellnia
09.2021 - 02.2022

I assisted in the treatment of patients with various cellular disorders and diseases.

Internship

Cellular Research Lab
Cellsburg, Pencellvania
01.2021 - 06.2021

During my time here I gained a hands-on experience in the functions and interactions of various organelles in animal cells, as well as conducting experiments related to cell biology,

Education

Objective

To secure a job in the human body where I can utilize my skills as an animal cell to contribute to the overall function of the body.

Organelles and Functions

  • • Nucleus: Responsible for controlling gene expression and storing genetic material, allowing for proper cell division and differentiation.
  • • Nucleolus: Involved in the production of ribosomes, essential for protein synthesis and overall cellular function.
  • • Nuclear Membrane: Regulates the movement of molecules in and out of the nucleus, protecting the genetic material and controlling cellular processes.
  • • Mitochondria: Provides energy for the cell through the process of cellular respiration, essential for proper cell function.
  • • Ribosomes: Involved in protein synthesis, producing proteins that are necessary for various cellular processes and the body's overall function.
  • • Endoplasmic Reticulum: Functions in protein and lipid synthesis, as well as transportation and packaging of these molecules within the cell.
  • • Golgi Apparatus: Packages and modifies proteins and lipids produced by the endoplasmic reticulum, preparing them for transport to various parts of the cell or outside of the cell.
  • • Vesicles: Small, membrane-bound sacs that transport molecules within the cell, allowing for communication and exchange between different organelles.
  • • Lysosomes: Responsible for breaking down waste materials and cellular debris, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the cell.
  • • Peroxisomes: Involved in the metabolism of various molecules, including the breakdown of fatty acids and the detoxification of harmful substances.
  • • Cytoskeleton: Provides structure and support to the cell, as well as allowing for movement and transportation of various molecules within the cell.
  • • Flagella: Long, whip-like structures that allow for movement of the cell or movement of fluid around the cell.
  • • Centrioles: Involved in cell division, specifically in the formation of the spindle fibers that separate the chromosomes during mitosis.
  • • Cytoplasm: The fluid and organelles inside the cell membrane that allows for the movement of molecules, provides a site for chemical reactions, and supports the cell's overall structure and function.
