Even though most of my job skills are not mechanical in nature, I have gained a lot of experience growing up with my step-father. I learned great skills while helping him with home remodels, electrical repairs, cabinet and furniture design and construction, and automotive repair. My self sufficiency has pushed me to learn many things not normally expected from a woman.I can't count how many times these things have saved me time and money, while motivating me to reach for more experiences. I know various types of hand tools and some power tools, what they are used for, and how to use them safely.
