I have always had a drive to create. Even as a small child I still have faint memories of throwing paint all over a toddlers toy easel while my mom tried desperately to keep the mess contained sheets of newspaper splayed out on the floor. When I was introduced to working in ceramic as a sophomore in college, clay quickly became a soothing outlet for me. I found clay to be meditative yet challenging, a process I could get lost in for hours.
I like to spend time constructing a flow with every element of my work using a variety of techniques that create truly one of a kind pieces. Every carving, dot, brushstroke, or touch is intuitive and intentional with care and quality.
