Process semi-monthly payroll for both regular and semi-monthly payrolls.

Submit tax payments via EFTPS as well as create and submit quarterly 941's.
Process and maintain TRS Retirement on a monthly basis.
Update W2 information in profiles as well as process W2 file each year.
Oversee the timekeeping system for the district and ensure all timesheets are submitted and received from campus Secretaries.
Conduct trainings on Payroll timesheets, adjustment forms, and time off requirements with campus Principals and Secretaries at the beginning of each school year.
Confer with the Technology Department to ensure the payroll operating system updates are maintained.
Work diligently with the HR Department regarding new hires, termed, resignations, FMLA payoffs, return to work calculations.
Handle all questions and complaints with Principals, Secretaries, and employees pertaining to pay calculations, timesheets, time off requests and payoff calculations.
Process Substitute data from Frontline on a semi-monthly status.
Supervise the Payroll Specialist, Benefits Specialist, and Position Control Specialist.
Liaison for any issues that arise with payroll, benefits, and position control.
Review all data on new hires regarding specific deductions, benefits, and contract calculations.
