• Perform POCUS exams on thorax, cardiac and abdominal structure as well as full abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms per company protocols.
• Perform ultrasound guided cystocentesis, abdominocentesis and fine needle aspirates.
• Supported DVMs in making informed diagnoses with thorough documentation of sonographic findings and relevant clinical information.
• Mentored DVM, sonographers and veterinary nurses, sharing expertise in scanning techniques and best practices.
• Assist veterinary assistant and nurses with various tasks, ie: patient restraint during blood draws, administer subcutaneous fluids, position for x-rays, run blood work, scribe during critical cases, triage patients.

• Performs sonograms on cats and dogs : Abd, msk, Cervical/thyroid and SUB flush exams under guidance with on site and remote radiologist (Philips Epiq). Occasionally scan exotics through Smithsonian National Zoo. Perform US-guided cystocentesis. Assist radiologist with US-guided procedures.
• Fear free animal approach and restraint during imaging, administer sedation via IVC as needed.
• Coordinate US machine QC/PM and repair requests.
• Schedule outpatient ultrasound and communicating with clients, export/import images to PACS, proofreading reports and uploading report ro EMR and send to rDVM.

Sonographer Full Time 01/2017-01/2021, PRN status 08/2022-06/2023

• Perform abd, small parts, ob/gyn, vascular, breast, peds and limited MSK ultrasounds and US guided arthograms (GE Logiq S8/E9, Siemens Acuson Sequoia). Train and evaluate students.

Office Operations Manager 01/2021-08/2022

• Operated and managed busy outpatient imaging facility with 14 employees, additionally onset 06/06/2022 to 08/2022 interim office manager at 2nd location with 7 additional employees.
• Duties included but not limited to : budget/finances, supply chain management, enforcing all company policies and procedures, conducts staff meetings/huddles, comply with MD state and ACR accreditation/licenses for all modalities, monitor and schedule PM/physicist testing for all imaging equipments, liaison between upper management and staff, marketing, physician liaison, patient and employee satisfaction/complaints, evaluate press gainey scores, staffing/schedules, new hire onboarding, helping on floor at front desk, tech aide or sonographer as needed
• Ultrasound SME , primary pediatric sonographer, oversee ultrasound modality and staff, coordinate with lead sonographer completing ACR, protocol reviews/compliance, conducts quarterly meeting, train staff, students and new hires.
• Coordinated installation and apps training for 9 new Siemens Ultrasound machines for 5 outpatient imaging offices.
