My experience through high school was very diverse, as I attended multiple schools in the short term of 4 years, sculpting me into a highly adaptive person at a very delicate age. Instead of grieving the separation between myself and my newly established friends, I embraced the opportunity of experiencing a spectrum of student/youth culture. Being an example to others who were comfortable being complacent, I introduced the idea of curiosity and wonder. I expressed myself primarily through writing, poetry and short essays. My Junior year I was entered into a philanthropy writing contest by my Student Leadership coach/teacher/mentor, and I won! My humbleness didn’t fully comprehend the dynamics of winning, I wrote that essay from the heart with full intentions of bringing awareness to the Angel Tree, organized around the holidays to provide an opportunity to give a gift to the ones who otherwise may not have been fortunate enough to celebrate the holidays by receiving. The joy from speaking on a true childhood blessing experienced by my sister and I in elementary, long term effects on our Spirit, a heart warming joy seeking its opportunity to give back. This essay was it, my opportunity, not a contest. I had already won. I was an academic award winning student with a restless mind, barely awake to participate in class, an attendance of 13% my Senior Year, taking all Advanced Placement classes with no intention at the time to attend college; I wanted to work. Somehow continuing to have a relationship with my teachers, completing homework assignments and passing exams, I rarely found myself actually attending class; once every 2 weeks to turn in assignments and ensure I haven’t been removed from the school roster (which happened once), I pursued manual labor in a retail franchise so I could purchase my prom tickets, yearbook, senior pics, and cap and gown. I have all the potential to be an academic scholar; this has been recognized within me by various teachers since grade school. I’ve been recognized and presented academic honors, placed in gifted and talented programs, enrolled in advanced classes since 6th grade pre algebra. My own perception of what my future was holding for me at the time of graduation was confused with what society subliminally imprinted into my mind as what was the more responsible and realistic route of post academic. I was determined, ignorantly at this point, to work for what I wanted, or needed, or to go without. Quite an oxymoron, but I never understood, or believed, the difference. Statistically, I was intended to be a laborer and work start over ends to pay in order to live just so I can continue to work start over ends, again and again. This cycle became so whole that without the phases influencing my life in the way I recognized, I became immediately unfamiliar with my circumstantial teenage super power of adaption, spiraling into captivity. Embarking on this new journey, fresh in my 30s, I’m becoming aware of what’s destined to ascend me into my higher purpose, a projected potential always alive within, phasing out of cycles, spiraling out of control, losing my mind to find what matters. My school years aren’t concluded just yet, I’m accepting the awareness of my intuition guiding my spirit into Universities of universal possibilities. The circle had me moving in the right direction, I’ve just got to reverse the cycle and enter where I left out: continuing my education to obtain a degree in social psychology and psychotherapy and enter backwards into the socially structured phases of life’s intentions and purposes that aren’t unique to me, not tailored to my personality, not equipped to satisfy my individual needs. Desire and deflection illuminated my new path towards my true purpose, ready to be enlightened by embracing my full potential.

Can testify my willingness to step up to the plate, advancement in roles, developing a manager mindset in the process of realigning the culture and values within a store after a sudden disposition and termination of the store’s manager after a very dishonorable act of greed and selfishness. Applied myself to the given task and provided full amount of effort in achieving a stable retail shop and work environment.
