My strongest attribute is my ability to listen and learn. I love learning new skills and things about how the world works. I learned how to cut my own hair; I only messed up the first time. All of my others self-cuts after that were nice and clean. I am very hungry, and determined to get to where I want to be. My strong skills in being able to be taught and coached to become something great are why I am the best candidate for the spot.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill
Ridgeland
04.2024 - Current
Upon working at Dairy Queen, I had no idea I would learn so much. Like most teens, I looked at it as a normal job to have a little extra cash in my pocket. At my job, I am 95% in the grill. I make all of the food, and clean the dishes on nights that I close. Occasionally, I hop around different areas to help out when it's busy. When I applied for the job, I was aware I would run into altercations, problems, and frustrations. However, I have gained some unexpected life skills in the process. I became more patient and understanding in tough situations. My critical thinking sharpened under pressure. I was also able to find solutions to problems that helped save us during rushes.
Upheld high standards of productivity and quality in operations.
Implemented strategies to take advantage of new opportunities.
Greeted customers upon entering the store with friendly demeanor.
