I was a nurse trained as an adjunct to the float pool. From 2017 until October 2021, I was trained in seven different units, including surgical, trauma step-down, orthopedic, and three medical units at Johns Hopkins Bayview. In November 2021, I accepted a float pool position at Christiana Care Union Hospital. It was here that I was uptrained to the ICU.
