Volunteer

Inland Pulmonary Care
01.2024 - 03.2024
  • Assisted with physician and team members in procedures of screening, questioning, examining patients
  • Maintained clean, neat, and operational facilities to get care team ready and welcome patients and visitors
  • Supported engaging, fun, and smooth-running daily operations by helping with health-care team including physician, nurses and medical assistants
  • Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to patients and accompanying individuals
  • Acquired an ability to work independently to ensure preliminary care of patients while completing assigned tasks without direct supervision.
  • Observed rules and safety regulations of the organization while carrying out assigned tasks. • Developed strong communication skills while providing customer service to visitors at the volunteer center.
  • Developed problem-solving and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Helped answer questions and concerns patients raised whenever expected to be repeated following direct instructions and medications from doctors.

Academic Lab Experience

University Of California Riverside
01.2024 - 03.2024
  • Experienced basic lab procedures: aseptic techniques for inoculation loop in purpose of transferring micro-organisms, calibrating pipettes, pipetting for transfer of solutions, sanitizing equipments and apparatus by using Benson's Burner
  • Adhered lab protocols, safety procedures for working in lab, classification of biohazardous signs and warnings
  • Carried out procedures of serial dilution to get diluted solution from which growing colonies of microbes can clearly be identified and counted on culture plates
  • Studied slides and specimens under microscopes and produced magnifying images for further analysis
  • Performed Gram-Staining procedures to differentiate bacteria and study morphological differences among bacteria
  • Performed cell culture by streaking agar plates with microbes growing on slant culture
  • Identified antibiotic resistance of bacteria (E coli) in the presence of Streptomycin or Ampicillin
  • Observed process of mutagenesis of bacteria by having them cultured by introducing tobacco which causes mutagenic to bacteria cells and bacteria transforms into mutant version

Academic Experience

Ohlone College
01.2021 - 12.2021
  • Acquired biological bab skills and hand-on experiences of working in college lab
  • Practical training on microscopic examinations to slides and specimens of tissue samples and identified cellular organelle by adjusting magnifying lens for best resolution
  • Practiced pipetting techniques with different liquid samples by making sure to choose right pipette to improve pipetting accuracy following pipetting procedures.
  • Worked on centrifugation using electronic centrifuge to separate particles from a solution according to their molecular weight, density, viscosity, and rotating speed by using the concepts of centrifugal force and acceleration
  • Performed gel electrophoresis using gel electrophoresis machines, carrying out separation among macromolecules especially DNAs and RNAs by length of their fragments and chemical charge they carry on
  • Studied PCR Reactions in presence of enzyme named “DNA polymerase (III)” that helps amplify sample DNA fragment to make few pieces of DNA from our cheek cells samples to obtains million copies of DNAs and identifiable DNA molecules
  • Worked on DNA sequencing by putting target DNA fragment into slot of sequencing machine and identifying and reading sequences by orders of nucleotides along molecule
  • Examined blood types of a person by determining presence or absence of two antigens, antigen A and antigen B, on surface red blood cells and identified blood type of given blood sample
  • Counted numbers of RBCs in given specific amount of blood sample under microscope and classified type of white blood cells and platelets , if present by shapes, number of lobes and color of nucleus present in blood cells

Paid Employment

Penumbra Inc.
05.2019 - 08.2021
  • Developed new marketing strategies for increased brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • ·Adapted to changing assignments and varying workloads to build and test sub-assemblies of microscopic units and qualitative control of the end products.
  • Worked on manufacturing assembly of intricate parts of the devices and the integration of components passing through the assembly line
  • Maintained compliance and regulations with Good Manufacturing Practices, GMP, and following standard operating procedures, SOPs
  • Performed procedures following Line Clearances, ensuring workstation is clean and ready for next batch or new lots
  • Adhered safety measures for disposal of hazardous waste material in corresponding waste areas
  • Checked and tracked progress of manufacturing products on time and according to MQI specifications
  • Calibrated equipment and test fixtures and checked for functioning capacity
  • Performed pre and post inspections of assigned work station to align with standard operating procedures of assembly of products
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail while proofreading documents for accuracy before final submission.
