Strategic Leadership & Professional Development

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for curriculum and clinical training aligned with institutional and departmental goals.
• Track and synthesize program-wide data and patterns, using insights to shape innovative, mission-aligned systems and close identified gaps.
• Collaborate across departments to support GSCP-wide clinical placement processes, contributing feedback, insights, and strategic thought partnership to enhance program effectiveness.

Administrative Leadership

• Support the hiring, training, and supervision of the Clinical Instruction team.
• Provide weekly supervision-of-supervision to Clinical Instructors in the Somatic Department.
• Plan and co-facilitate weekly MA Somatic Counseling faculty meetings, intentionally supporting faculty cohesion, guiding group decision-making, and developing strategies to enhance student tracking and support, while ensuring alignment of curriculum and program goals.
• Support faculty through mentorship and professional development
• Organize and (co)facilitate Somatic Leadership Team meetings, the Annual Faculty Retreat, and orientation events.
• Participate in admissions interviews and events.
• Organize, manage, and participate in Gateway processes for 1st- and 2nd-year students, including faculty feedback collection and clearance for practicum/internship applications.
• Oversee reporting, documentation, and facilitation of Notices of Concern (NOC) for students.
• Collaborate with the GSCP Clinical Placement team to track and implement paperwork updates (syllabi, Canvas, SharePoint, checklists) and communicate changes to instructors.
• Participate in review and evaluation of clinical placement sites and community partners.
• Maintain alignment with CACREP and ADTA accreditation standards.

Curriculum Development & Teaching Support

• Lead development and continuous improvement of practicum and internship curriculum, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and industry best practices.
• Teach at least one course annually (minimum 4 credits), including one section of Practicum.
• Lead curriculum review and tracking processes, fostering structured faculty participation in evaluating, revising, and aligning program curriculum to ensure quality and coherence with program goals.
• Collaborate with Office of Career and Life Development and Advising to maintain effective clinical placement policies and procedures.

Student Supervision

• Provide at least 10 hours (5 direct, 5 indirect) of individual Clinical Instruction per intern per semester (maximum of 12 students per course).
• Oversee internship placements, meeting with site supervisors and interns at the beginning and midpoint of placements.
• Collaborate with internship instructors to ensure timely submission of all student paperwork.
• Complete mid-semester and as-needed student evaluations.
• Assist students in securing practicum and internship placements and provide ongoing support throughout training.

• Provided at least 10 hours of individual Clinical Instruction to 12 students during their Internship
• Provided triadic supervision to pairs of practicum students.
• Attended weekly supervision of supervision with Clinical Instructor lead.
• Oversaw the intern’s placement and met formally with the site supervisor and the intern at the beginning and the middle of the internship placement.

• Founded and managed a private practice serving the Denver community, providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive psychotherapy with a specialization in LGBTQIA+ affirming care and attachment-focused treatment.
• Provide clinical supervision to Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCCs) in Colorado, supporting case conceptualization, ethical practice, and professional development toward independent licensure.
• Utilize integrative treatment approaches including EMDR, play therapy, expressive arts, and body-based modalities to support trauma resolution and the development of felt safety and relational stability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers—including medical, educational, and mental health professionals—to coordinate holistic, client-centered care.
