Born and raised in Huntington Beach to an OR nurse and the owner of an environmental tank cleaning company, I developed a strong work ethic early on by going to work with my dad at his facility in Gardena sweeping floors and doing small tasks for lunch money. Everyday there was a lesson he wanted me to take away to which at the time, I wasn't sure why. After growing up, it’s easy to understand why he made me sit through all his lectures. It was so he could instill in me that nothing is given to you, anything worth doing is worth overdoing, and if becoming successful was easy, everyone would do it.
After graduating from Huntington Beach High School, I spent two years at Orange Coast College struggling with what kind of career path I wanted to take, but knew I wanted to follow my dads footsteps in becoming an entrepreneur. During my baseball career in High School, I grew close to Nick Krakower who is now a Senior Vice President at Lee & Associates - Newport Beach. While going to OCC, he introduced me to Commercial Real Estate and asked if I would like to shadow him around for a while. After doing so and seeing how this would fill my wants and needs in an entrepreneurial role, I knew where I wanted to devote all of my time and effort.
After acquiring my RE license, I went to work for Lyon Stahl Investment Real Estate in Long Beach, selling multi-family assets to gain some experience. After a year there, I made the switch to the Newport Beach office of Lee & Associates. I began my career doing leasing and sales of industrial properties in South Orange County, specifically San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano. After finding that there may not be space for me to get off the ground in such a small market, I made the switch to where there was more deal volume into North Orange County. Finding some success in this market, I have stuck with it for the last two years. I finally found myself setting meetings, presenting BOV’s, and finding requirements, but lacked the training and support needed to push the deals forward.
During my commercial real estate career, I have continued to do jobs for my dads company on weekends, helping people move, and working for a florist in delivering flowers to local events to stay afloat. I excel in having the work ethic, passion, and ambition to be successful in this industry, and with the proper training, I know I can bring value to the right company.
