Summary

My journey in healthcare started not in any clinic or hospital, but at home. My father was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis over a decade ago among other conditions in recent years. This is what sparked my love of healthcare, through taking care of my father as his illnesses progressed, it gave me clarity as to what my purpose is. I started my journey in phlebotomy and soon after moved into hospital work as a telemetry monitor tech. It is then that I discovered how impactful nursing is and that it is the perfect fit for me. I have a passion for critical care, complex cases, and working with people through some of the hardest times of their lives. My future aspirations are to get my CCRN and then eventually my NP for the critical care setting!
