- Company Overview: WIPP (Waste Isolation Pilot Plant). WIPP is a DOE (Department of Energy) facility where they store transuranic waste. NWP (Nuclear Waste Project) is who I was an intern through.
- During my internship I was responsible for dealing with payrolls of some of the contractors. I also would check for expired insurance and performance bonds on procurement files. I would also make sure that companies were adhering to the Davis Bacon Act as well.

- At CIG I load semi-trucks with frac sand and dump sand into the silos with the use of railroad cars and conveyor belts. I also do maintenance around the yard. This includes greasing bearings on the silos, shoveling sand out of the silos, and making sure the kiosks are working. I also load trucks with frac sand using an RBT (Railroad Barge Truck). I am responsible for inputting truck driver information and directing them to correct silos. Also, I am responsible for giving the truckers their completion paperwork. Another responsibility is that I must offload trucks that bring sand to our facility.
