I have authored two research publications which can be found in the SUNY Open Access Repository (SOAR). The first is a study on the difference in bat species' habitat preference between rural and urban sites. The second study was conducted using Department of Transportation data looking at deer collisions within the Adirondack Park to zone for ecological passage locations which would defragment the park and reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions. I am working on getting this study published in an Adirondacks scientific journal with Mark Baran the GIS professional at SUNY Plattsburgh.
I'm an avid pianist and sailor. I have written over 50 piano pieces in my lifetime each ranging between 2 and 10 minutes in length. I am a proud outdoorsman in terms of hiking, camping, rock and ice climbing, and white water rafting.
