En Route - Short Film

En Route was a semester long project, in which I pitched to various directors for the roles of audio engineer, and editor. This film is by far the most important and impactful film I have done in terms of expanding my knowledge in the world of film. With the combination of long shoot days, an assortment of pre-production planning and meetings, and multiple casting calls with multiple auditions from various actors and actresses, this film made for the most practical and legitimate film I have worked on yet. While many challenges arose during our shoot days, and even more in the post-production period, it was a long process that included a lot of critical thinking in terms of how to solute each of these problems. Overall, the film was a major success for my group and I, as we plan to submit our final product to various film festivals in the near future.

Always Linked - Short Film
Towson University - EMF Department • 02/2024 - 05/2024

Always Linked was a project I joined as the head audio engineer. The project was worked across the entire Spring Semester. My roles during pre-production included location scouting, breaking down the script in terms of audio, and communicating with the director to decipher which equipment would be required for the story. During production I was in charge of placing lavalier mics on each of the actors, holding the boom pole during shots, as well as mixing the audio while scenes were in progress. In post-production, I used pro tools to help me not only score the film, but ensure all levels in audio were matched together and synced to each scene.

Faceless - Short Film

Faceless is a short film that I worked on at Towson University. For this film, I assumed the roles of audio engineer, director of photography, and editor. Faceless was a great chance for me to obtain more skills, especially in the aspects of lighting, and audio. Many challenges arose during this film in terms of the locations lighting and natural audio, however I was able to find solutions and apply them to make this film work.

Left Alone is a film trailer that I put together while at Towson University. This was a solo project, in which I assumed the roles of editor, director, writer, and director of photography.

TOWSON ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT – VIDEO EDITING

Worked across several sports, taking raw footage shot during games/events and met with the editing team to create quick highlight clips, superimpose graphic designs, and promote certain teams at Towson University. Worked mostly with adobe premiere, but dipped into editing with final cut pro as well.
