I started at Refresco as a Maintenance Apprentice. During my time as an apprentice:

• Utilized an online training course known as TPC Fusion that broadened my knowledge of 3 Phase motors/gearboxes/pumps, a course on Bearing types/applications/care and handling and other general Industrial Maintenance affairs.
• Upon completion of TPC, i earned the title of B level Maintenance Technician
• Gained knowledge and experience with Stick welding
• Gained and expanded my knowledge of 3 Phase electric cabinets/components
• Performed weekly/monthly preventative maintenance tasks and annual/semi-annual machine rebuilds.
• Deepened my already existing knowledge of production equipment such as bottle/can fillers, rotary and linear labelers, case packing/wrapping machines, Depalletizers/Palletizers and other various industrial packaging equipment.

• Learned a great deal about roasting processes(for bean)
• Daily duties typically entailed answering calls to troubleshoot, setup, tune in, and/or fix production equipment("fillers" using a laminate roll and/or paper to create coffee bag using driving bands and heated sealers followed up by a timing setup of when to appropriately drop the coffee in before finally being sealed)
• perform PM's for said machines
• Perform processes such as an ACO(a controlled heating process for the ean roasters that is aprx. two hours long where you must monitor and control gas input and perform measures in fire prevention and excess heating during the process

• Used hand tools, power tools and measurement devices to perform production operations
• Prepared and assembled materials and set up and operated production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
• Collaborated with team members to promptly accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

• Loaded and unloaded materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand
• Carried out individual work in various capacities to promote business and achieve assigned goals
• Liaised with other workers to perform duties, responsibilities and tasks, advancing objectives.
