- I'll be honest with you, my life has been my children and tending to their every need.
- Helping them be successful in whatever it is they aspire to do in life.
- I know each of my children learn differently, and need to be encouraged and taught in different ways. I feel that is so important in helping them be successful, and developing a love for learning and growing as a person.
- Resilience, this is something that has been a huge part of my life, at 26 years old after recovering from multiple brain and spine surgeries over the years, I had a brainstem stroke during my last surgery. This caused paralysis of the right side of my body. I had to relearn absolutely everything!
- How to walk, talk, dress myself, feed myself, everything!
- My Therapists (coaches) were a vital part of my recovery, they helped me and my family so much.
- I am now a mentor at the same Neuro Rehab I was in, I go visit patients and help give them someone they can relate to and help them see their lives aren't over, different? Yes, but can still be so beautiful. We adapt, we overcome, we come out stronger, and are better humans because of what we have gone through.
- I love building others up, and helping them see, they can do absolutely anything they set their minds to.
