Kyler Adkins

My name is Kyler Adkins. I am from New Kent County, Virginia. I have always wanted to be a lineman since I was little. I remember when hurricane irene hit Virginia. I was outside when the linemen were working hard and fast to get the power back on in my neighborhood. When the lights finally came back on, seeing how happy people were and how grateful they were, I knew in that moment that I wanted to be a lineman. I love to work hard and I love helping people in anyway i can I love putting a smile on peoples faces so I think being a lineman can help me with that. These past two jobs I had required a lot of manual labor, especially in construction. I have never been a lazy kind of person. I've always been the one to take the opportunity to work and to learn something new. I have a lot of goals in life that I want to accomplish. I will always be ready to answer the phone when it's time to come to work. I've never been late to work, and it's rare that I miss a day of work. I am a very reliable person. I am hoping to get a job with Dominion to work hard and help keep the lights on for all of the communities in the state of Virginia.
