Kyler Fung

I have been serving my church as a Summer camp leader for 6 years, leading a group of counselors and taking care of 25+ kids each day for 2 months each summer. Learned and applied skills such as time management, teamwork and team building, conflict resolution and de-escalation, empathy, leadership and initiative. Able to work well with kids and adults.

Worked the 3-8pm shift as a server and busser, was responsible for setting tables, lighting fires, serving food, drink and desserts. Responsible for bringing dirty dishes to the kitchen, replacing tablecloths, mopping, vacuuming and closing. Dealt with conflicts between residents and staff or kitchen and helped clear misunderstandings. Demonstrated endurance and commitment during my shift and would work hard until the end of the night.

Worked as a teacher and teachers aid during the school year for afterschool care. Taught math, English and Chinese, graded work and tutored kids.
