  • Senior Capstone Project Youth Community Gardening (August-May, 2022-2023): Involved my peers in a community garden work day, teaching them the importance of being outside, and what these gardens provide.
  • Arts & Sciences Honors Journal Editor CU Boulder, 30th Edition (January-May, 2025): Worked alongside a group of 17 other Honors Students within the Arts and Sciences Program and the University of Colorado, Boulder. Created an Honors Journal showcasing works from all disciplines within the College of Arts and Sciences. Organized a release event in which authors and artists were able to speak, and be recognized for their distinguished work.
  • Psychological Research Study Student Stress and Sleep CU Boulder (January-May, 2025): Worked alongside other students in a Psychological Research Methods class to develop a study regarding students academic burnout and overall sleep quality. Created a survey which was distributed to peers and classmates, analyzed data, and wrote an APA research paper on the findings and implications of the study.
  • Sociological Research Study Time Outdoors & Mental Health CU Boulder (July-August, 2025): Developed a research study testing a hypothesis regarding the positive impacts of spending time outdoors on overall psychological well-being. Created a survey which was distributed to adults in Colorado (18-60), and analyzed the data. Wrote an ASA paper diving into the methods, results, and implications.
  • EcoLeader Certification Boulder EcoCycle (August-January 2025): Underwent a volunteer training program where we learned the intricacies of recycling in Boulder, composting, and the role of waste in the climate crisis.
  • Individual Change Project on Single-Use Plastic Consumption Conservation Psychology Research Project CU Boulder (August-January 2025): Engaged in a research project documenting my experiences regarding single-use plastic consumption and the subsequent attempts to decrease the amount purchased and used. The research project was aimed at determining the necessary psychological conditions through which meaningful change can be accomplished through the lens of conservation, finding that tracking, goal-setting, and consistent reflection decreased single-use plastic consumption by 32%.
  • Community Change Proposal Conservation Psychology CU Boulder (August-January 2025): Using the findings obtained in the before mentioned Individual Change Project, the Community Change Proposal aims to scale behavior change from the individual level to the CU Boulder undergraduate population level. It uses a three-component intervention proposal consisting of a pledge, reusable starter kits for on-campus dining, and dynamic norm messaging.
  • Let's Talk Justice Sociological Research Podcast CU Boulder (January-May 2026): A group podcast in which we explored juvenile recidivism with a strong focus on how race shapes experiences within the justice system. Drawing from existing research, it highlights how youth of color, especially Black youth, are disproportionately impacted in all stages of the process, from arrest rates to sentencing. The podcast builds on this research through an interview with the Boulder County District Attorney, Michael Dougherty, who provides insight into how these issues play out in practice.
