We host a Back to School event at my church every year. Less fortunate kids are blessed with free school supplies, a hot meal, a new haircut, new shoes, games with prizes and free counseling. My family and I typically help fit the kids for new shoes.

My church hosts Vacation Bible School every year. My family volunteers to be in charge of a group of kids the entire week. We develop a special bond with the kids around us.

Our big event for Student Council is every year at Christmas. We go shopping at the Eastland Mall for underprivileged kids at our school so that they are able to experience Christmas.

For White Hats, we went Angel Tree Shopping at our local Walmart. Then we wrapped all of the gifts.

We wrapped Christmas presents at our local Elks Lodge for Key Club.

Around the holidays, we made cards for the local nursing home. We also had a sock drive and food drive for our local food pantry for Key Club.

In White Hats, we made first responder baskets to show our appreciation for them.

As part of the historical society, we gave tours to elementary students at our local museum.

I assembled the food and bagged orders.

I taught basic tumbling and cheerleading skills.
