I started doing live theatre when I was only nine years old! I fell in love with the art instantly, and knew that it would be a huge part of my life going forward. Since then, I have participated in every musical available to me throughout middle and high school, and I continued the passion into college as well. I was cast in two main stage productions at Western Kentucky University, including Shakespeare's As You Like It, and a musical adaptation of Little Women. Being on stage in front of an audience is exhilarating and allows me to show the many different sides of my artistic abilities. Theatre has ultimately prepared me for my career in communications, because it has helped me eliminate the fear of speaking and performing for large groups of people. Not only that, but I have also gained an appreciation for every little detail that goes into telling a story.
