My primary duties for this position were to care for, clean, groom, and bond with the Afghan hound Penny for showing at American Kennel Club dog shows. Along with learning proper techniques for the care of this breed of dog, I used proper techniques like leading, baiting, stacking, and presenting this show dog in rings. I would also train the dog with basic and advanced commands to help the owners with their ownership of this dog.

• in this position, I did attend approximately 6 Afghan hounds daily. Duties that were required of this position were feeding, medicating, exercising animals, bathing, de-matting, trimming, teeth cleaning, waste collection, and settling dogs to their Kennels. I was also required to clean kennels and crates, along with keeping exercise areas swept and tidy.
