Investigates allegations of probation/parole violations including both technical and criminal elements. Requests and serves warrants as the situation dictates. Completes supervision reports. Owns assigned tasks. May serve as a lead (covering the office when the supervisor is on leave) or train staff.
Interstate Compact Officer: Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision, a formal agreement between the member states that seeks to promote public safety by systematically controlling the interstate movement of certain adult offenders. Responsible for offenders wishing to transfer supervision to a different state other than Georgia and for offenders who wish to transfer their supervision into the state of Georgia.
