Production Support & Application Enhancement Specialist

• Currently working on split the time between Production Support and application enhancements to meet the business and user needs.
• Ensure continuous availability and reliability of critical systems through proactive production support.
• Drive application enhancements to improve functionality and performance, optimizing workflows and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to plan and execute sprint releases, ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.
• Utilize Oracle and SQL expertise to optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance data integrity.
• Lead security and server upgrades for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) systems, enhancing infrastructure resilience and compliance with security standards.
• Successfully migrated several applications from on-site projects to Federal Cloud Services, improving scalability and reducing operational costs.
• Develop and maintain microservices architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Enhance user experience by integrating responsive design principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Design robust RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end applications and back-end services.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate code testing, validation, and deployment processes.

• The project supports an integrated suite of web-based applications primarily designed for managing the extensive and complex requirements identification and certification business needs of the client. The application utilizes the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Architecture (ASP.NET). In addition to the .NET Framework, it also utilizes the legacy front-end Windows Distributed internet Applications architecture (Active Server Pages – ASP Classic) with Oracle as the primary back-end database. Business Objects XIis utilized as its reporting engine. The application supports over 2500 users distributed across the country.

• Key-role in the design, development, Maintenance and testing of software system and my primary duties including adding features and fixing bugs in .NET Applications and working with management and business analysts for specifications. Additional Duties Including researching &presenting ideas for systems improvements, testing in controlled & real situations to track down issues and researching questions that get brought up from our testing or support team.
