  • I also want to say I was fired from this job, I had training, but not sales per say. I worked there 3 years and my sales were not good. I did great on customer service, but I still did not have the ability to talk the customer into additional sales other than what was required. Which did result in my firing. My amount of box was sold in first 2 years was tops 25. Once I found out some of the tactics used to add more boxes sold and my ending total was 294 or somewhere around there.

I also worked for Home Security/ICSS. They are in Albuquerque,NM They are an alarm company. They take care of business and residential. When I started with them in !990 it was rated at about 8th in the area. By the time I left they were ranking 3rd. I handled long range radio, government facilities, monitoring for several different companies( at this time the industry was very closed mouth about their clientele.) We also handled medical alarms before they were poplar. as well as card access. Also at this time construction sites were being hit. So. we perfected an alarm system to protect the building supplies on site. I left for the betterment of my home life as I had 5 children (2 of which was twins) and my grandchild.

  • Client Relations: - During the time I managed the monitoring station for Home Security /ICSS I was responsible for staffing. In the years I was there (and take into consideration this was & days a week, 365 days a year both night and day) I had one time I had to make a person work a shift . All the others were on a volunteer basis. I also was informed a could not make a 4 day 10 hour schedule work. And the second week the station was live it was also done.
  • Supervised a crew of 12.
  • I handled all client problems unless I felt the staffer could take care of the problem
  • I also created additional ways the staff could make extra money, as well as trained the staff on how to trouble shoot alarm problems over the phone, thus , cutting down on service calls
  • I also helped with bookkeeping when needed or promotional mailings.
