Volunteering at Animal Assistance League of Orange County.
As volunteer at the AALOC, a no-kill animal shelter, I provide transportation for animals needing routine or emergency vet care. The shelter is currently over crowded, as a result it's very important to foster when they are sick or injured. I help with reaching out by either social media or word of mouth to find potential fosters or even adopters. Because the animal to employee ratio is so high, it is hard for employees to maintain all the animals. I provide help by cleaning and caring for animals including socialization, which is in hope to increase their chances of getting adopted.
