- Assisted the city with tasks in various departments during the internship in summer 2024. The other interns and I would research other cities and towns to see how we can improve our own and how we could help. Produced short videos showcasing improvements in town parks, enhancing community engagement. Another that led into my time as the only intern during my senior year of high school was collecting information on the location and numbers of all the trash and recycling bins for the city to create a better database. Researched town ordinances to identify ways to clarify language for local merchants, improving compliance and understanding. Along with being an intern I was also a part of the City Youth Council in which we had talked about our cities issues and how we can improve upon them, in which we had created a new event called the Crossroads of Culture to celebrate all the cultures in our small town. Speaking of the youth council I had created an advertisement to get more teenagers to join the council which had reached over 2,000 views on Facebook. My time at city hall showed my ability to connect with many and my ability to multi-task into different areas of expertise. P.S. I was also the towns Sparky the Dog for our Halloween Parade and a Blockade to raise money for special Olympics!
