Company Overview: Oigetit uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to fact-check one million articles every hour and delivers trusted and reliable news stories to users globally
My responsibility was to perform routine inspections of the Oigetit website to ensure there were no bugs and the website was functional and user friendly
This included performing functional tests on components of the website as well as pages flowing properly and as expected
All findings were captured on Google Sheets and presented to the team in weekly update meetings
As a remote intern I had the opportunity to provide the company with a unique opportunity to test in other countries during my summer travels to Denmark, Italy and Greece.
This afforded the company with a rare perspective on how the website performed globally
I was able to identify several defects during my travels
In addition to inspecting and testing the website, I was also responsible for identifying Really Simple Syndications (RSS) feeds of additional reliable news sources for future use
I received a lot of praise and gratitude for my work as an intern and received a glowing letter of recommendation from the International General Manager

My responsibilities were to maintain the facilities and parks of the more than 600 acres of private facilities and parks throughout the North Shore of Lake Travis
I worked independently on projects such as clearing overgrown areas in the park, cutting down dead trees, planting new trees, repair broken water mains, and metal repair and welding on the numerous floating docks

Mustang Project

05.2018 - 08.2018

Company Overview: The Mustang Project, inventor of the LED sequential taillight system for late and early model cars
As part of a team, my responsibilities included reading and building circuit boards from schematic designs which introduced me to Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) as well as build the boards using my soldering skills
I also conducted quality assurance testing using several different testing methods such as Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Flying Probe Testing and functional testing
Each method served to identify defects on the circuit board, from component placement to solder joint quality and overall functionality
I am proud of the contributions I made at the Mustang Project including identifying and fixing a defect in one of the designs
