Special Skills
From when I first auditioned for The Dance Kollective, July 2023, until now I have enhanced my technical skills through participation in masterclasses and workshops, demonstrated adaptability by performing multiple roles across diverse dance genres, strengthened my company reputation through captivating performances in various productions, showcased versatility and artistry, and overall seen an improvement in my work maturing as a professional dancer. I have not been here for long but I've had the opportunity masterclass from some of the greats like, Travis Wall, Wade Roberson, Ryan Maw, Shannon Mathers, Rudy Abreu, and Terrill Mitchell just inside my studio let alone the countless classes I've taken at conventions. I've also been given the chance to work with choreographers like Lucy Valley, Sam Neas, Ricky Malouf, Fransico Gella, Gino Cosculluela, and more.
Move Dance Family was the place I considered home for multiple years, and has taught me the ins and outs of movement. It really strengthened me awareness of my own body and how to properly dance from somewhere within and not just with my muscles. During my time being there I collaborated with choreographers to create and develop innovative dance routines for various productions, participated in numerous dance competitions and shows to demonstrate technique and artistry, enhanced audience experience by delivering emotionally captivating and technically precise performances, and have truly found my own unique movement that sets me apart from other dancers. I've been able to work with in-house choreographers like Jessie Ferguson, Mallorie Marion, Ashley Crittenden, and Drew Phipps which I've developed strong relationships with even after leaving.
