Eager to learn and grow, dedicated, vigorous dance training, classically educated, work well in a group, absorbent of knowledge, seeking to excel in new styles and techniques, strong musicality, even among all learning styles but am mostly a visual learner, experience in acting, with a strong stage presence.
After attending Kansas City Ballet's Summer Intensive in 2023, I was invited to join their highest Pre-Professional Program Level 4. I currently attend classes in Ballet, Pointe, Pas De Deux, Flamenco, Modern, Contemporary, Modern and Jazz classes as well as participate in a weekly Study Hall where guest speakers provide lecture series in dancer nutrition, master classes in Fosse and Combat training (as it can relate to contemporary works), injury prevention, mental health and time management. I performed in their Nutcracker production, along with company members in the role of a Matroyshka Doll as well as a fairy in Peter Pan. I was also invited to be a part of their Kansas City Youth Ballet where I performed original contemporary and neoclassical ballet works as well as excerpts from Le Corsair and Raymonda. We are also provided classes in Pilates, Conditioning, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Yoga. At Kansas City Ballet, I dance between 20-24 hours a week.
I was accepted into the Pre-Professional Academy where I took classes in Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Pas De Deux, Character, Flamenco, Modern, and Jazz. I studied with the Sharon Story-Atlanta Ballet School Dean, Anderson Souza-Company Member, Serena Chu-school instructor, Sergio Masero-Company member, and Natalya Vyashenko-school instructor. I contributed to successful company productions by mastering routines for the Nutcracker and Beauty and the Beast. I actively listened and communicated with dance instructors, choreographers and company dancers in the roles I was cast in and developed strong technical skills through consistent practice and dedication to improvement. I applied my musical theater background into my dancing roles to further enhance audience experiences when in company productions.
From five (5) until 15 years old I danced at Inland Pacific Ballet, a studio in Montclair, California. While at Inland Pacific Ballet I studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz and Musical Theater. While there I also took classes in Pilates, and Stretch and Strength. I began my pointe work at 10 years old. I also was accepted at this studio as a Junior Trainee and then moved up into Company Trainee. I trained and learned from Victoria Keonig, Artistic Director as well as Zaylin Cano, Carrie and Clinton Roth, Jill Voznick and Kelly Lamerouex. For their annual Nutcracker I performed as a Waltz Flower, a Snow Flake, and Kissing Doll as well as trained for role of Clara. I participated in the school's Morning Conservatory program where I performed original contemporary works as well as classical pieces. Also at this studio, I participated in musical theater productions in various singing and dancing roles in Moana Jr, Beauty and Beast, The Lion King and Newsies. As a High School student I attended between 20-24 hours a week in dance training with 10-12 hours in ballet, pointe and contemporary ballet.
