Performance-driven, willing to learn and grow, dedicated, vigorous dance training, classically educated, work well in a group, absorbent of knowledge, seeking to excel in new styles and techniques, strong musicality, even among all learning styles but am mostly a visual learner, experience in acting, a strong stage presence, and cross train at the gym 1-2 times a week.
From third grade (8 years old) until now (17 years old) I have been dancing at Cartesion Dance Academy; a studio in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. While at the studio I have studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Improvization, Acro, Pointe, Afro-Fusion, Progressive Ballet Technique, and Musical Theatre. I also take classes for Stretch and Flexibility and Jumps Leaps and Turns and Conditioning. I began dancing in the studios Pre-professional dance company about 6 years ago where I perform around the community. Through the dance company I traveled and attended several dance conventions such as Dancefest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Revel in New Brunswick, New Jersey and Excel in Motion in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I have danced about 20-24 hours a week every year of high school. I have also taken master classes in Urban Contemporary, Animation, Lyrical, Heels, Active Recovery, Ballroom, African Modern and African. I also study at the studio's second location in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I have spent many summers volunteering at the Dance Camps as a teachers assistant. I have also participated in the summer dance intensive for 5 years. I have studied under many teachers at the studio such as Miss Cinthia Burger, Miss Dedrea Becker, Miss Melissa Zimmer, Miss Christina Nemeth, Miss Rebecca Benson, Miss Jessica, Miss Carly, and Miss Hannah Doll.
At Reach for the Stars Dance Studio, I studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, and Jazz. I danced there 2-4 days a week. I also studied under the pre-professional and professional dance company, Monroe Ballet Theatre, co-founded by the studio's artistic director Mary Negron. At the studio I also trained and learned from Adriana Negron. I trained on pointe 1-5 hours a week for the annual Nutcracker performances and performed as a Waltz Flower, a Snow Flake, and a Reed Pipe in the Nutcracker in 2018 as well as trained for part of the 2019 season.
I was accepted into the Lehigh Valley Charter Arts High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and attended briefly as a dance major where I studied Ballet, Modern, Modern Performance Choreography, Dance History, Improvisation, and Etiquette.
As a dance minor at AACMS in seventh grade I studied 2-3 days a week in Musical Theatre and Modern 2-3 hours a day. As a major in eighth grade I went on to study Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Contemporary 5 days a week for 3 hours a day. In addition to my technique classes I also took dance improvisation and dance history as a dance major. Through the school; I had many performance opportunities like school wide performances such as assemblies and for veteran lunches, in the community, and in recitals.
