· Directed Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project selection committee.

· Facilitator to the Regional Pedestrian/Bicycle Committee.

· Managed the Region’s bicycle locker program and coordinated the transfer of the bicycle locker program to local municipalities.

· Served as the Region’s point-of-contact for public information regarding bicycle and pedestrian issues.

· Planned and coordinated the composition and mass distribution of 100,000 copies of the Long Island Bikeways and Trailways map.

· Developed IPP/FDR for the Park & Ride Bikeway Graffiti Removal Maintenance Contract.

· Arranged workshops on walkability and presentations on bicycle and pedestrian design.

· Prepared ped/bike narrative for the Regional Transportation Plan.

· Coordinated and designed a 138-mile bicycle route network along state highways throughout Suffolk County, NY.

· Managed TDM consultant contract including monitoring their performance and approving payment reimbursements.

· Assisted the Local Programs Group in the preparation of contract documents, and providing technical assistance to local municipalities for the Local Safe Streets and Traffic Calming Program.

· Served as Regional Transit Coordinator which included processing reimbursement payments and providing technical assistance to non-profit organizations applying for the Section 16(b) 2 program to improve mobility for elderly and handicapped persons.

· Prepared scoping/design approval reports for safety and operational improvement projects on the Grand Central Parkway, Cross Island Parkway and FDR Drive.

· Wrote a major portion if of an environmental assessment statement for the Bronx River Greenway project.

· Mapped non-motorized transportation projects for the Regional Transportation Plan with Arc View.

· Served as editor for the agency’s Council Contact newsletter.

· Co-authored a report of Estimating Population Exposed to Hazardous Materials – Highway Transportation in the Region.

· Managed the Nassau and Suffolk Unified Planning Work Program.
