La’Nya Henderson

As Freshman Mentors, we, the upperclassmen, play a vital role in supporting incoming students during their transition to high school. Our responsibilities include assisting them in locating their classes, demonstrating how to operate their lockers, and familiarizing them with school policies and expectations. By providing this guidance, we not only ensure a successful and seamless 9th-grade experience for the freshmen but also contribute to a more orderly and productive environment, allowing us seniors to focus on our own academic and leadership goals during our 12th-grade year.
