• Prepare operating room with needed equipment and supplies for surgical procedures for the .
• Act as a patient advocate ensuring all needed tests and paperwork is provided on patient prior to going to operating room.
• Assist anesthesia with induction, position patient for surgical procedure, surgically scrub the operative site for procedure being performed. Monitor to ensure sterile technique is not compromised. Open any needed implants or supplies. Document all needed documentation for surgical procedure.
