  • Medical Leave / Now Return to Work. In May 2024, I started having medical issues with my throat and in June 2024, a CT confirmed Epiglottal cancer. I received 37 “radiation fractions” and 6 weeks of I.V. chemotherapy, which did kill the cancer, but also left me with significant side effects to my voice and general functioning. The recovery from after-effects was long, as predicted by Oncology, but is finally behind me. As of January 2026, I am very ready for return to work.
