Responsible for oversight of NERC-CIP compliance as well as OT and IT Security controls across the enterprise.

Develop a newly formed NERC-CIP Compliance Team. Assisted the team, along with other internal teams, in development of knowledge of requirements and methods of performing the needed tasks to comply with NERC Standards and Requirements. Improve processes, both technical and administrative to increase efficiency as well as compliance to not only the NERC-CIP Standards and Requirements but with additional security controls.

Managed all aspects of NERC-CIP Implementation and Compliance across NRG’s generation fleet. Design electronic and physical security configurations, work with multiple internal teams to achieve final configurations and buy-in of the CIP Program

Responsible for plant controls systems, supervision of Instrument & Controls-O&M Technicians. Engineer and configure new control systems and automation.
