In 2019-20, Norfolk State achieved arguably its best season since winning the MEAC title in 2002. Guided the Spartans to a second-place finish in the league at 12-4, their best MEAC record ever by percentage and tied for their highest finish in the league ever as well


Led the Spartans to a 10-1/2 game turnaround in 2016-17 during his first full season, which tied for the eighth-best improvement in the nation that season. In addition, Norfolk State’s 12-win improvement was the largest single-season increase in program history. The Spartans went 15-15 and 9-7 in conference, recording their first .500-or-better season since 2001-02.

Recruiting Coordinator

Recruited and developed 7 All-MEAC players in three years. Including Jeff Short and Jonathan Wade MEAC First Team. 9 professional athletes who played in 14 countries.


Team Liaison for Compliance. Works closely with the compliance director regarding initial and continual eligibility as well as potential waivers for incoming transfer students.


Player Development not limited to big men, on-court individual instruction of guards including MEAC POY, Pendarvis Williams and All-Conference Malcolm Hawkins.

Developed and implemented highly successful strategic plans in regards to scouting and game prepartation: including wins over SEC, A-10, CAA and Mountain West opponents.


In charge of forward and center development leading to several All-Rookie and All League Players. Highlighted by Kyle O'Quinn, Rashid Gaston, Robert Johnson and Brandon Goode.


In charge of monitoring student academic progress helped lead program to 961 APR, highest ever in men's basketball history and recognized by Fox Sports for having the 11th best improved APR in nation


Worked directly with Associate AD for Internal Operations handling tasks related to budget preparation and balancing a million dollar budget


Mandate, hire and assign duties to a rotating 7 member staff of managers, student assistants and volunteers


Help led Norfolk State to first Division I NCAA Tournament (2012), as a #15 seed upset #2 Missouri in the 2nd round of tournament.


Responsible for recruitment of Virginia as well as other parts of the east coast
