Shipping/Receiving Associate, Spring 2004- February 2011
I changed commitments from working in the Clean Room to the Shipping/Receiving Dept at Med Central. I learned to be "Detailed Oriented" and to have High Work Ethics from my Clean room training, but was wanting to take those skills and apply them elseware. Working on a dock and working very closely with carriers and shipping things overseas was nothing new to me as I had prior experience and the work excited me.
I was introduced to the 5S Program and really took off with it. We were the second shippig/receiving team to 5S a shipping dock and I took the initiative and drove the effort. It was a successs and we have been able to some degree 5S all the docks here in Flagstaff.

Cleanroom/Production Associate, 1990-2004
Due to the fact that the project was moving to Phoenix and I was not ready for that move, I took on a role as a Clean Room Operator at the Medical West Facility in Straight Graft Production. This involved all the processes from a raw graft to becoming a Straight Graft or Ring Graft device. To be honest, I gave it my all and learned a lot about being Detailed Oriented and Accuracy, but did not enjoy this commitment very much.

Shipping/Receiving Associate, 1984-1989
I changed commitments and went into the Shipping/Receiving Dept. in Medical Central. Here is where I learned all the raw basics of Shipping and receiving. It was here that I new that I wanted to be a true asset to Logistics and learn all that I could about it. It was here that I wanted to learn all the aspects of International/Export Shipping Logistics. My day to day responsibilities included but not limited to pulling orders from inventory and sending them down to shipping, where I would help process them and prepare them for outbound shipping.I also learned how to use the USPS Postal Meter Machine and prepped mail for the Post Office. It was in this commitment that as a shipper that I learned what true Customer Service was truly all about. Everyone is my customer and they deserve Top Notch Customer Service all the time.
