- Assist and mentor new CEO during onboarding and transition, providing advisory support while maintaining clear boundaries and avoiding subordinate responsibilities.
- Foster a supportive environment for new leadership by respecting the chain of command, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Collaborate with our Endowment Committee and new Development Director to develop and implement strategies for growing our Endowment, targeting both prospective and existing donors.

- Worked effectively with volunteers to create and develop short term and long term strategic plan that addressed community need. With the volunteers we also developed short and long term finical goals with clear strategies, outcomes and measurable goals.
- .Managed a staff team of 10 full time staff and over 150 part time staff. With a focus on development and reward our staff team has a large number of staff who have over 15 years of seniority working with our YMCA. Another effort has been a focus on succession planning and growing staff into future leadership positions.
- Positioned the YMCA to partner with public and private agencies to maximize community assets and best serve our community. Worked with the Municipality of Anchorage to manage and operate a community swimming pool, partner with the Anchorage School District with shared facilities to operate 12 child care sites and operate a youth sports program serving over 1,000 youth annually in school district facilities. Partnered with other community non profits to utilize and share our facilities for a variety of programs and services.
- Developed and oversaw short and long term financial strategies including budgeting, forecasting, program/capital allocation, annual audit and 990 reporting. Worked with department directors in the development and oversight of their budgets. Prepared and presented monthly and annual financial reports to Board of Directors.
- Oversaw development and implementation of our Association financial development plan. Including annual campaign, capital campaigns, endowment campaign, grant writing and government grants.

- Successfully oversaw final completion of a new facility, followed by the construction of an addition two years later.
- Developed and managed membership growth of 400 in the old facility to over 2,500 members shortly after opening the new facility.
- Developed and executed a comprehensive staffing plan to effectively support the rapid expansion of our YMCA.
- Managed all operational and business aspects of our small YMCA while overseeing a minimal professional staff.
